If you need permission to burn bright, here it is. Be exactly who God called you to be. Maybe that is outgoing. Maybe it is fiercely generous. Maybe it shows up as serving others without needing recognition for it. Maybe it is joy so contagious people cannot explain why they feel lighter just being around you.

Whatever it is, stop dimming it to make others comfortable.

Because somewhere along the way you learned to read the room before you read your own spirit. You learned to scale back the personality, the gifting, the enthusiasm, the generosity, whatever made someone else feel like they had to keep up, because it felt safer to be liked than to be fully you.

But God did not design you in layers you are supposed to hide depending on who is watching.

He designed you on purpose. Psalm 139:14 says you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Not made to be edited. Not made to be a smaller, quieter, more convenient version of yourself for the comfort of people who were never assigned to carry what you carry.

The world does not need another woman performing a personality that is not hers. It needs the real one. Outgoing or quiet. Loud or gentle. Bold or tender. Whatever God put in you, that is the version He wants walking through the earth.

Authenticity is not arrogance. It is obedience. Be authentically you.

You are worth showing up to the table for. For you. Not after everyone else has eaten. Not with the scraps of time and energy left over once the day has taken everything it wanted. Not as an afterthought squeezed in if there happens to be room left. You. At the table. On purpose. Like the woman you have spent years pouring out for everyone else actually matters too.

Because somewhere along the way you learned that showing up for yourself was selfish. That rest was something you earn after you have proven you deserve it. That your needs come after everyone else's are met, if there is anything left of you by then to even ask the question.

But you cannot keep setting a table for everyone else and never pulling up a chair for yourself.

Jesus modeled this. He fed five thousand people and still withdrew to be alone with the Father. He healed the sick and still rested. He poured out completely and still made space to be filled. Mark 6:31 says come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest. Not because the ministry stopped needing Him. Because He knew that pouring from empty was never the model He was setting.

You were never meant to live running on empty and calling it sacrifice.

Sit at your own table. Pour into your own cup. Show up for the woman who has been showing up for everyone else for far too long without anyone asking how she is actually doing.

You are not selfish for needing rest. You are not selfish for taking up space. You are not selfish for finally treating yourself like someone worth taking care of.

You are worth it. Show up for her today.

Comment DEVO1 below and I will send you all the details on 90 Days to Unshakeable a 90-day devotional written specifically for the woman who is ready to stop shrinking and finally walk in everything God says she is. Women finish this different than they started. Rooted. Free. Unshakeable. You are next.

When praying for your home, did you know you can pray amiss? I know that may sound strange. I know you love God and you believe in prayer and you have been doing it your whole life. But stay with me for a second.

Praying about your home sounds like this. “God please help the tension in this house. Lord I just ask that things would get better. Father I hope you can do something about what has been going on in here.” It is honest. It is real. And God hears every word of it.

But praying the Word of God over your home… 😮‍💨

It sounds like, “Father your Word says you are a wall of fire around this house and the glory within it so I am standing on Zechariah 2:5 and declaring that right now.”

It sounds like “Lord your Word says no weapon formed against this family will prosper so I am declaring Isaiah 54:17 over every assignment the enemy has sent against my marriage and my children.”

It sounds like, “God your Word says the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him so I am declaring Psalm 34:7 over every bedroom in this house tonight.”

You can feel the difference. The prayer that bounces around the ceiling versus the prayer that shifts something in the room the moment you open your mouth! It’s because it is alive! Hebrews 4:12 says the Word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double edged sword.

Alive. Not historical. Not inspirational. Alive. Active. Moving. Working in the atmosphere of your home when you release it out of your mouth over the rooms your family lives in.

A woman who knows the Word and prays it out loud over her home is a woman the enemy cannot get comfortable around. She is not just hoping things get better. She is releasing the living Word of God into every room and that Word does not come back empty.

It goes to work.

Walk through your home today with your Bible open. Stop in each room. Find a scripture that belongs in that space and speak it out loud. Over the kitchen. Over the bedrooms. Over the front door where everyone comes and goes.

Let the Word be the loudest thing your house hears today.

Comment COVERED below and I will send you the link to The Covered Home, a 30-day prayer and declaration guide built entirely on the Word of God, teaching you exactly how to speak scripture over every room, every door, and every corner of the most sacred ground God ever gave you.

Open the Word, sister. Then open your mouth. Your home is waiting to hear it.

Stop waiting for perfect conditions to become who God already said you are. The conditions are never going to be perfect. The kids are not going to get easier. The calendar is not going to clear. The finances are not going to settle first. Life is not going to slow down long enough to give you a clean runway to step into everything God has placed inside you.

It was always going to have to happen in the middle of the mess. In the middle of the busy. In the middle of the hard and the uncertain and the not yet and the still waiting.

Right now. As you are. In the season you are in.

Because the woman God is calling you to be is not a future version of you that exists on the other side of better circumstances. She is the version that decides, in this moment, with this life, in this impossible season, that what God said is worth saying yes to.

She is not fearless. She is just done letting fear make her decisions. She is not healed perfectly. She is just finally moving in the right direction. She is not ready. She is just willing.

Willing, has always been enough for God.

After a hard week, go pray through your house before the new one begins. I know that may sound strange. I know the weekend is the only time you get to breathe and the last thing you want is one more thing on your list. But stay with me for a second.

Every week leaves a residue in your home. The stress that walked in Monday morning and never fully walked back out. The hard conversation that happened in the kitchen on Wednesday that got resolved enough to move forward but never quite got prayed through. The worry that has been sitting in the living room since Thursday disguised as a to-do list. The exhaustion that soaked into the walls by Friday night and is still there Saturday morning waiting to greet you.

Most of us carry the previous week straight into the next one without ever stopping to hand it back to God. And then we wonder why the new week feels like it starts already behind. Why the freshness we were hoping for never quite arrives. Why Monday feels like an extension of last Friday instead of an actual new beginning.

You have felt it. The week that ends and the one that starts and somewhere in the middle nothing actually reset.

There is a reason God established the Sabbath. Not just as rest for the body but as a reset for everything. A deliberate stopping. A conscious handing back. A moment where you say, that week belonged to You Lord and so does this one and I am not carrying what happened in between into what comes next.

Your home deserves a reset too. Not just your body. The rooms. The atmosphere. The ground your family is going to live on for the next seven days.

Before Sunday ends. Before the new week swallows you whole. Walk through it. Every room. Pray out what the week left behind. Hand back the stress, the unresolved tension, the worry that unpacked its bags in your living room without being invited.

Because your home is not just where the week happens. It is where the new one begins. And you are the one He appointed to make sure it starts covered.

Comment COVERED below and I will send you the link to The Covered Home, a 30-day prayer and declaration guide that teaches you exactly how to cover every room, every door, and every corner of the most sacred ground God ever gave you.

This is your house. Don't let last week set the tone for next week.

No one talks enough about the woman who built her life while healing from it.

The woman who turned pain into purpose.
Lessons into income. Faith into action. Dreams into reality.

For years she was told to stay in a little box made by other peoples expectations and experience.. ..“Stay small.” “Be realistic.” “Be quiet”. “Don’t want too much.” “That won’t work”. You can put your box here…

But God never created women to shrink. Sis…. Burn the box!

He created women to build. To lead.
To create. To nurture. To multiply. There is nothing selfish about becoming the woman God designed you to be.

There is nothing wrong with wanting freedom for your family, impact for your community, and abundance for future generations in all areas of their life.

The world doesn’t need less powerful women. It needs more women who know who they are.

Your voice matters. Your story matters.
Your dream matters. The next chapter of your life does not have to look anything like the last one.

Healing is not the absence of pain. It is the presence of God in the middle of it.

Because so many women are waiting to feel better before they call it healing. Waiting for the wound to stop being tender. Waiting for the memory to stop having charge. Waiting for the thing to feel completely resolved before they believe that God has actually been moving in it.

But healing is not a feeling. It is a direction.

It is the daily decision to bring what is broken into the light instead of managing it in the dark. To open the rooms you have kept locked and let Holy Spirit in even when it is uncomfortable. To exchange the lie for truth one honest conversation with God at a time.

The woman on the other side of that process is not just freer. She is more powerful. More pure. More dangerous to the kingdom of darkness than she has ever been.

And she has been waiting on the other side of your willingness to begin.

Comment HEAL2 right now and get a copy of Heal to Hear. This book will walk you through the process one honest step at a time, and what God uncovers in you will take your breath away.

After the family gathering ends, go pray through your house.

Family gatherings carry more into your home than just people. They carry history. The unresolved tension between siblings that everyone pretends is not there. The passive comment from the relative who always has one. The old wounds that resurface the second certain people walk through the door no matter how many years have passed. The comparison and the competition and the complexity that comes with every family that has ever existed on the planet.

When everyone hugs goodbye and the cars pull out of the driveway, not all of it leaves with them.

You have felt it. The way your home feels different after a family gathering than it did before one. The exhaustion that is not just physical. The atmosphere that shifted sometime between appetizers and dessert and never quite shifted back.

There is a reason the priests did not just build the temple and call it finished. They consecrated it. Dedicated it. Covered every corner of it intentionally before they ever invited the presence of God to fill it. There is a reason Nehemiah inspected the walls after the rebuilding was done. Maintenance was never a sign of weakness. It was a sign of wisdom.

After the holiday gathering. After the family visit that left you emotionally depleted. After the dinner that was beautiful on the surface but carried undercurrents you are still processing. Walk through every room they were in. Open your mouth. Pray over the space the conversation occupied. Hand back what was left behind.

Your home is not just where family gathers. It is where the presence of God dwells. You are the one He appointed to tend that ground after every person who touched it has gone home.

Comment COVERED below and I will send you the link to The Covered Home, a 30-day prayer and declaration guide that teaches you exactly how to cover every room, every door, and every corner of the most sacred ground God ever gave you.

This is your house. Tend it well.

You cannot keep pouring from a place God never filled. You have been giving from empty. Serving from depleted. Loving from a place that has not been truly tended to in longer than you want to admit. And you have called it faithfulness when some of it has just been avoidance of the one thing God has been asking you to do.

Stop. And let Him fill you.

Not for everyone else. For you. Because you matter to God before you are useful to anyone. Because healing is not a prerequisite for ministry, it is a gift He wants to give you because He loves you. Because the most powerful version of what flows out of you will always come from the most honest version of what happened inside you.

A full vessel does not strain to pour. It overflows effortlessly. That is what God has always wanted for you.

Not a woman wringing herself dry for everyone around her. A woman so full of His presence that life just spills out of her everywhere she goes.

Get filled first. Let everything else flow from there.

Comment HEAL2 and get a copy of Heal to Hear. This book will fill the places that have been running on empty and change everything that flows out of you.

Your wife needs you to fight for her in the spirit more than she needs anything else you can give her.

She needs your provision. She needs your presence. She needs your faithfulness and your love and your time. All of that is true and none of it touches what she needs most, which is a husband who stands in the spirit between her and the assignments the enemy has launched against her calling, her identity, her peace, and her future.

Ephesians 5:25 says husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her. The giving up was not primarily financial. It was sacrificial. It was the willingness to position yourself between what you love and what is coming against it at personal cost.

Christ's love for the church was not passive affection. It was active, sacrificial, willing engagement against everything that had legal claim against her. He took the claim. He satisfied the court. He covered what she could not cover herself.

That is the model for the husband in intercession.

When a husband prays over his wife she carries something into every room she enters that she did not have before he opened his mouth.
When a husband declares over her calling she moves in a different authority.
When a husband stands in the gap for her she is covered in ways she can feel but cannot always explain.

The most loving thing you will do for your wife today has nothing to do with what you spend or where you take her.

Get on your knees. Cover her. Fight for her in the spirit.

She is worth the war.

Comment WIN26 right now. The 30-Day Spiritual Warfare Devotional will show you how to fight for your wife and your family in the spirit with the precision and authority of a man who understands his assignment. I will send you the link personally.
