Residents are invited to attend a Strategy Preview and Feedback Meeting Wed., Aug. 26, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Flint River Community Center, 153 Flint River Road, Riverdale, GA, 30274. As the Clayton County Housing Assessment Strategy Study nears completion, the Clayton County Community and Economic Development Department, in partnership with the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) will share what residents can expect:

A preview of the draft goals, strategies, and ideas developed by the project’s consultant team.
To learn how these recommendations aim to support a healthy housing ecosystem in Clayton County.
Opportunities to share feedback that will help shape the final study.

The meeting is free and open to all Clayton County residents, and no registration is required to attend. This is one of the final opportunities for residents to join the
conversation before the strategy is finalized.

Clayton County residents are invited to attend the Moving Clayton Forward Public Information Open House to learn more about the Southlake Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project and other initiatives helping shape the county’s future. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet project representatives, ask questions, and receive updates related to transportation, transit-oriented development, housing, economic development, and community growth.

The event will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Clayton County Northwest Branch Library, 6131 Riverdale Road, Riverdale, GA, in the Large Meeting Room.
