We’re taught to look outside ourselves to see who we are … to social media, to the opinions of others, to the labels we were given years (or decades) ago. And while those reflections might offer glimpses, they’re often warped by filters, expectations or old stories that no longer fit.
But the truest mirror?
It’s not out there … it’s within.
It’s the still, aligned voice that rises up when you give yourself a moment of quiet.
It’s the trusted mentor or guide who sees you … not just who you’ve been, but who you’re becoming.
It’s the soul-deep clarity that lands when you follow your curiosity, speak your truth, or take that one brave step forward.
Those are the reflections that show you who you really are and who you’re here to be.
Next time you find yourself looking outward for validation or definition, pause.
Turn inward.
And ask:
“What part of me is ready to be remembered? Reclaimed? Reflected back in truth and power?”
Because the answers are already within you. And they are luminous.
