Almost exactly 8 years ago I took the 2 younger boys to “ interview” with 2 German Shepards whose owner was dying and who needed homes. When we had arrived the female took off down the road & we were left alone with the 5 year old male. He walked right over to me and put his chin on my leg. And I just looked down at him & said, you’re coming home with us boy aren’t you? Within hours he became our protector. Only being in The house for a few minutes but barking at anything that came near us. (He almost ate Greg) 😂😂 And while he loved me, Trevor was HIS boy. They spent hours growing up together, playing ball, learning new tricks, swimming, thinking it was ok to be a 150 lb lap dog 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 etc. He was very good at commands, but the minute Trevor was around, nobody and nothing else mattered. He lived for Trevor. I couldn’t have asked for a better dog than Damon. Even at 13 years old, it still seems too short a life. It’s just not gonna feel right without him. RIP good boy. We love you so much & I know you were met by Diesel on the other side of that rainbow 🌈 bridge. 😢💜
