November cover stars Ashley () and Ed Brown run a nonprofit called the , whose mission is to transform Florida's foster care system by better facilitating connections so more children find loving homes.
In just four years, Ashley and her team have helped connect more than 800 kids with potential families and finalized upwards of 350 adoptions. "These kids will never realize what a resource they have in my wife," says Ed, as Ashley starts to tear up with emotion. "She works 10 hours a day, 7 days a week and will not stop until she finds them all good homes. Selfless Love is her passion, her love, and she will change the foster care system."

A guiding spirit: Jupiter resident Matt Hudson honors his late son, Harrison, through Hope from Harrison (), a nonprofit dedicated to raising resources and hope for children with critical medical needs.
Since its inception, Hope from Harrison has given more than $300,000 to families in need. Funds are raised through online donations, private donors, and at West Palm Beach's SunFest, where the Hudsons and volunteers run a beer concession during the music festival each year.
