Wicwas Press, LLC, evolved from the 1976 American Beekeeping Federation meeting in Philadelphia, Penn where Roger and and Mary Lou Morse sold audio-visual programs under the name "Beekeeping Education Service". Roger and Mary Lou Morse gave Wicwas Press its new identity in 1978, named after Lake Wicwas in New Hampshire where Mary Lou grew up. A man knowledgable in the field of apiculture and relat

ed sciences, Roger published several of his own books as well as books of poetry by his father, Grant D. In 1989, Wicwas was purchased by Dr. Lawrence J. Connor who organized it into an LLC in Connecticut. Now published out of Kalamazoo, MI, Wicwas's titles include numerous acclaimed works by contemporary authors and bee experts, as well as reprints of significant historical beekeeping books and fiction. BEE part of A NEW HONEY COOKBOOK



Help support the Next Generation program for young beekeepers.
Wicwas Press plans to publish an all-new recipe book with pictures
Containing drinks to desserts and everything in between!
Wicwas Press is searching for recipes that have honey as a major ingredient, or sweetener, or flavoring. You will get a copy of the book that you help create. A percentage of book sales will go to the youth beekeeping programs from each of the states that contributes recipes. Our goal is 100 we currently have 67.
What we need:

HONEY RECIPES OF ALL KINDS

1. -List ingredients by their order of use, followed by instructions.
2. -Name and address of person who created the recipe,
3. -A story behind the recipe
4. -Statement that the recipe is new—not printed elsewhere or copyrighted.
Email your favorite honey recipe in a Word file.

Wicwas Press will set up a book display at the West Virginia Beekeepers Association meeting at the Clarion Inn in Harpers Ferry, WV on Friday and Saturday April 5 and 6. Dr. Connor will give two keynote talks on Saturday, April 6 at 8:30 am and 3:30 pm. Hope to see you there!
