MONROVIA: The General Auditing Commission of Liberia (GAC) has released a recent audit report that positions Dewitt B. VonBallmoos, the Director General of the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP), favorably among Liberians.
This audit, covering the years 2022 and 2023, clarifies the corporation's financial standing and expenditures, as well as the employment conditions under VonBallmoos' leadership.
There have been unfounded and misleading claims circulating on social media, propagated by paid individuals seeking to tarnish the reputation and leadership of the institution.
Under VonBallmoos’ guidance, NASSCORP has worked diligently to deliver social security services to the citizens of Liberia. A comprehensive evaluation of his tenure shows a commitment to transparency, accountability, and responsible management.
During his leadership, NASSCORP has launched several initiatives, including the development of housing units, the creation of a cutting-edge Medical Diagnostic Center, which has greatly enhanced healthcare services in Liberia, and the establishment of a modern NASSCORP Headquarters in Sinkor, Monrovia.
These accomplishments underscore VonBallmoos' dedication to advancing NASSCORP and improving the welfare of its beneficiaries.
The GAC report provides a clear insight into VonBallmoos' operations at NASSCORP, affirming that he has acted transparently and in the best interests of the corporation and its stakeholders.
Additionally, NASSCORP has addressed the media and social media critics, asserting that they lack substantial evidence to substantiate their accusations against the Director General, claims that are being manipulated by individuals seeking to undermine his efforts and vision for NASSCORP.
NASSCORP employees have firmly rejected the allegations against VonBallmoos, expressing confidence that an impartial investigation, as indicated by the GAC audit, will clear him of any misconduct.
NASSCORP remains committed to its mission of providing social security services to the people of Ltoria and will not allow unfounded allegations to hinder its progress.
Workers are urging the public to dismiss the unfounded claims against VonBallmoos and concentrate on the real advancements being achieved by NASSCORP under his stewardship. They trust that the truth will prevail, and VonBallmoos will continue to lead NASSCORP with integrity and commitment.
