Had a great time this past weekend at our United Patriot Rally for the Mid-Carolina Conservatives.

Many thanks to our speakers who came from near and far to speak to our spectators and our group.

Also, special thanks to Lee's Sandwich Shop in Kannapolis, North Carolina for providing food for our spectators for the event.

It was a great time, and we look forward to our next event.

Some of my thoughts in regards to the DNC Convention thus far:

I find it ironic that the party of "the future" has a Planned Parenthood Mobile Unit at the DNC offering free abortions and vasectomies.

The entire DNC has been nothing about policy and everything about Donald Trump.

There have been more Pro Palestine Protesters outside the Convention compared to the people inside the Convention.

And to top it off: the Harris Campaign have been having to pay people and influencers to promote her campaign- instead of having real genuine support like President Trump has.

Oh, let me add. Harris and the Dems Coup D'état Biden after the Debates. Because they knew that Trump would, and will still win in a landslide. The Dems are truly evil, and you cannot change my mind.

I have been following many Young Republicans Chapters and Federations across the country for a while now. The New York Young Republicans is supposed to host a "National Divorce" panel or debate next Friday night.

That gives my campaign another good idea: to host different panel events over the year on different topics. Can include many other chapters across the Old North State as well.

It would be in good fun and be informative as well so everyone learns something from it.

A podcast show might come out of this, too.

Tonight, I attended our local Rowan TAR's meeting to discuss with them a potential partnership between our Rowan YR's and the local TAR's organizations.

The Rowan TAR's are not officially chartered in the NC TAR's organization...yet.

TAR stands for Teenage Republicans, which is one step below being a Young Republican. I believe it is paramount that we train up our next generation to be Conservative-Christians.

The TAR's organization are a good start. As it helps High School students network with other like-minded people.

My slate is ready to work with other Conservative groups across our county and state, in order to bring the change we wish to see.

We will be promoting their events alongside our events, if I am elected YR Chair.

Went to the local Tea Party Meeting tonight. Our YR Chapter, if I am elected Chair, plans to work hand in hand with the Party at Large and the Tea Party Patriots.

Tonight's program was on why we should get rid of the voting machines and go back to hand counting ballots. The topic at hand is interesting. There are pros and cons to both sides of this argument.

What do y'all think! Should we keep the machines and allow them to count the votes that way- or should we go back to hand counting votes?

Welcome to my Political Blog. I am gonna start using this daily so that people can better understand me & where my views are on different topics.

Question 1: Who are your favorite political hero(s), and why?

For starters, I am a States Rights Advocate, and a Anti-Federalist as well. I believe in Limited Government & the right of the individual states to their own sovereignty, and decision making.

The federal government is supposed to remain small and only be there to back up the States in emergency situations. We obviously have moved away from that. Hopefully soon, we can take back our states and start using the Nullification Power.

With that being said, my two favorite political figures would have to be John C. Calhoun and Patrick Henry. They are the epitome of states rights and limited government politics.

Patrick Henry gave a fiery speech at the Second Convention in Richmond Virginia in 1775, stating

"Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death."

John C. Calhoun is considered one of the most staunch defenders of States rights in the United States Senate.

He supported the use of the Nullification Power (10th Amendment in the U.S Constitution). One good example of this happens to be the Nullification Crisis of 1832. South Carolina threatened to secede from the Union because of Tariffs. Eventually they came to a compromise and South Carolina stayed in the Union for another 28 years.

All of that to say, those two are definitely my favorite political figures. They both had their highs and lows but their support of Limited Government, States Rights, and Anti-Federalist Policies, have always interested me.

I would like to announce that I am running for Rowan County Young Republicans Chair again this year. I am running on the platform of bringing change across Rowan County and North Carolina as a whole.

Currently, I am setting up my slate which is gonna have fantastic Conservatives on it to really bring the change we drastically need.

If I am elected Chair, I vow to immediately start working on fundraising and recruitment. Those are our two biggest goals that we need to focus on this year. Especially since the primary election will be over if our Slate wins the YR race in March.

We'll be able to endorse candidates & put our focus on the general election in November of this year.

I am personally excited to see what happens. There is a lot of potential, and I am ready to get to work. We have a lot to do but it's only up from here!

After being in Raleigh the past few days, it's always good to come home to District 83. Once I got back to the area, I made stop at Chick-fil-a and had the pleasure of running into a couple constituents who expressed their support. Times like these always make coming back to our district even better!

Tonight, we had our monthly Rowan County Young Republicans Meeting. Our current chairman set up a forum with five questions such as "what are your plans for fundraising", "What are your goals for your term"- and much more.

Below is the outline of my plans of what I want to get done for the 2023-2024 term.

I want to make sure the Rowan County Young Republicans works with the party at large, the Women's Republican Group, and any other Republican/Conservative affiliated groups.

My two biggest focal points for my term is to 1.) Increase our YR Membership, and 2.) Win BIG in the 2023 Municipal Races!

The Election will be held on March 7, 2023; location to be determined in the next few weeks.
