🔥 COACHES & PARENTS — READ THIS!
This may change how you lead forever. 👇⚾✝️
We all want to build strong connections with our players and kids…
but with busy schedules, big rosters, and nonstop activity,
athletes can feel invisible —
like just another jersey number.
But JESUS shows us a better way. 💡
He noticed people.
He called them by name.
He asked questions that unlocked their purpose.
And we can lead the same way:
⸻
✅ Notice • Name • Ask
✨ Notice the godly character in them.
Effort, humility, kindness, perseverance.
✨ Name what you see out loud.
“I saw how you led today.”
“You kept going even when it was tough — I’m proud of you.”
✨ Ask a question that grows them.
“What helped you stay focused today?”
“How did you choose to lead in that moment?”
These three steps tell a child:
I see you. You matter. God is growing something special in you.
⸻
📖 The Bible Says…
“Encourage one another and build each other up.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:11
“Train up a child in the way he should go…”
— Proverbs 22:6
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition… but consider others more significant.”
— Philippians 2:3
Every child is:
✅ Made in God’s image
✅ Uniquely gifted
✅ Called to glorify Christ — even on a ballfield
Sports are more than games.
They are ministry moments.
And WE are called to steward them well. 🏟️❤️
⸻
🙏 A Coach’s Prayer
Jesus, help me see each athlete the way You do.
Give me eyes to notice, words to build up,
and questions that point their hearts back to You.
Make me a leader who builds faith before trophies
and identity before performance.
Amen. ✝️
