I couldn’t let the day end without honoring this amazing woman!!! Another Mother’s Day without you Grams!! Your absence is felt daily but especially on holidays!! Especially today!! Typically on Mother’s Day we’d go out to eat somewhere and then spend the rest of the day hanging out with you! Laughing until we got headaches!!! It was always a good time when we got together!! You had an audience that hung on your every word in us! We laughed at all the shade, every joke, and the stories you would tell! Then we’d put in a good show for you too!!! I miss you immensely Grams!!! I know I’ll see you again one day!!! 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers near and far!!! All the aunties, teachers, grandmas, godmothers, and mother figures! You all are the glue that holds the family together!! The captains of the ship! The planners, secretaries, the doers, the problem solvers, warriors, the grace and strength of the home! You set the atmosphere in the home! You pray over the children! You lose sleep sometimes. You forget about yourself often. You may feel rundown or burned out but you keep going! Today I honor you!! I see you!!! I want you to know that you are invaluable!!! I pray that the people in your life make you sure that you special and appreciated today!!! You are worthy of good things mama!!! I haven’t been able to string together the right words to pay tribute to you! You went from stranger to family at lightning speed! You he came my uncle/godfather! Your house was our home away from home!! The crew and I were literally there all the time! You and Sis. Yvette helped raise us!!! You let us try your beloved boudin!! There are so many memories!! So many moments!!! So much advice given!! And so very many laughs!!! I can’t believe I won’t hear that laugh again!!! I take solace in knowing that you are with God!! My heart is with Sis. Yvette, Candace, Kiersten, and Little Bear! I love you all to the moon and back!!! I’m praying for you guys!!
