Maternity memories with the Pascavage family 🤍

Call it an unpopular opinion, but I think it’s even sweeter (and just as important) to capture maternity moments in sequential pregnancies. Seeing those first tender moments of the “big” loving on their “little” makes it all worth it. 🥹🫶🏼

Whitney & Andrew’s wedding was a celebration that rivaled a Vegas club yet still a sacred union of two best friends who laugh, dance, and take life’s moments as they come. Today, we celebrate the anniversary of the Berra’s Leawood love story! 💍✨

I can still hear Whitney’s heartfelt, teary words as she was getting ready the morning of their special day, “I miss Andrew already... he’s my best friend.” She reflected on how they’ve rarely spent physical time apart since their love story began. Now that’s one way to know when two people are truly each others’ loyal, lifelong COMPANIONS. Best friends, soulmates, companions – whatever you’d use to describe two birds of a feather – Whitney and Andrew are IT. 🫶🏼

Most brides would not have smiled and shrugged if their fiance went hunting the morning of their wedding, but Whit is a *cOoL bRiDe*. From a Chik-fil-A run before they said “I do”, to Andrew’s epic mic-drop rap, and a reception that was essentially a 90’s kids dance club – this day had it all. 🎉💃

And just when we thought the day couldn’t get more perfect, a rainbow appeared as if Whitney’s mother was watching over, sending her love. 🌈 Cheers to your first anniversary and a lifetime of love, laughter, and many karaoke anthems ahead! 🥂❤️

Fall is great and all, but I’m still reminiscing on the end of summer beauty. 🌷💍

Luke & Hannah: Engaged 🤍

High school sweethearts still bursting with honest, raw, real love! Immediately, I could tell Hannah and Luke are truly each other’s best friend. Luke never hesitated to help carry Hannah’s purse and she praised his patient demeanor even after plenty of ring shots were taken among the botanical flowers. I don’t think there was a single moment they weren’t smiling ear-to-ear. 🥹

It was a blessing to capture this special moment in their love story. Cheers to this new chapter! FYI I’m fully planning on crashing the wedding because I’m slightly obsessed with you two. 🤪

Happy FOUR YEAR anniversary to Mr. and Mrs. Josserand! 💕🎉 (Last week lol sorry team) The nostalgia and memories have flooded back to this perfect day. It’s been a blast being on the sidelines cheering you all on in these four years so far — cheers to all the adventures to come! 🫶🏼

Amelia and Kody have a Hollywood-like love story, so it's no surprise they had a Pinterest-worthy wedding! Small town Kansas girl meets Western Texas singer cowboy... I mean come on, we'd all pay to watch that movie. Even better than how their story looks on the outside is how it truly is on the inside. Amelia and Kody are a fearlessly devoted couple, emotionally in-tune with each other, and make sure to laugh and dance at any opportunity! These two inspire me to DREAM big dreams and always believe in true love. I know their fairytale love will make each of us believe in our wildest dreams, too.

The Mai Media team grew by 10 little fingers and toes this summer! 👶🏻 Darcey Jane has been the perfect addition to our family. 🤍

Yesterday was my first full day back to work from leave and all the bittersweet feels kicked in. 🥹 This season brought me to my knees a few times (physically and mentally), but I’m a stronger woman and mother for it! My heart expanded once more and my joy is unmatched. Thank you all for being on this journey with me — even through the behind the scenes crazy *in addition* to our new addition. (Read: Husband’s new job, family/help in and out of the home, multiple surgeries — all the things! 🥴)

I’m so incredibly thankful for the ability to grow my business and my family at the same time. It’s a gift not lost on me — even if my gratitude puts me at a loss for words.

This personal chapter has reminded me of what I say to my newborn and family clients: these moments are fleeting — capture it. You’ll never look back and regret it. Forget the “I need to lose weight/change my look/do a color analysis/[insert etc excuse]”. Just do it. These days go so quick! Create that time capsule for yourself and your family. 🫶🏼

Mothers are our first understanding of love 🤍

Motherhood is one of my most FAVORITE things to capture. Whether it’s in the form of a first-time-mama-to-be feeling the beautiful mix of nerves and excitement, or seeing a woman fully embrace the newest version of themselves holding their new tiny bundle of joy, or the confident veteran mama wrangling multiple kiddos full of adventure. To capture little precious moments in time to remind mamas just how incredible they are (and how much their family loves them) is a joy and honor I’ll never take for granted.

Happy Mother’s Day to you ladies who’s love knows no limits and hearts expand daily. You inspire me to be a better mother myself. 🫶

Parents know that while the season of raising littles can be hard, messy, and straight up unpredictable — it still is us truly living our best lives. Nothing beats the love we have for our mini humans (even if we share memes about our exhaustion 🤪). Parenthood brings growth beyond our wildest dreams and I couldn’t be more honored to have a front-row view capturing life’s most precious moments with the Vances.

From your wedding day, to bringing Ardie home, and now seeing him race into toddlerhood on his first birthday — life sure has been good to you three and it fills my heart to grab snapshots of every chapter! 🤍
