The few good tax cut crumbs for the poor don’t change the fact that this is a give away to the rich that takes away healthcare from the poor, destroys the environment, inflates the debt, and destroys many important federal programs. Call your congresspeople and tell them to oppose this spending bill.

Thoughts on the new Syrian government? Despite Ahmed al-Sharaa’s past he does seem to genuinely be winning favor in the west including from the Trump administration. For the moment at least this new regime does seem to be an improvement over the civil war and Assad’s regime. That could always change though.
