One of the hardest parts of adopting a cat is wondering if you’re doing something wrong.

They’re hiding.

The truth is that many cats need time to decompress and learn that they’re safe.

The “3-3-3 Rule” is a helpful reminder that trust often develops over days, weeks, and months—not overnight.
