Hi everyone — this one’s a bit long, but important.
We’re not closing the store — but over the past three days, we’ve had some serious conversations wondering if we might have to.

For the past two years, our pattern has been fairly predictable: a slow build from April into spring, then a boom into summer. This year, that didn’t happen. There was no gradual shift out of winter — and our summer business didn’t pick up until July.

Winters are always tough, but missing those crucial spring months was devastating. To keep going, we sold our truck, personal items, small equipment — anything we could. We took on predatory loans over the winter just to survive, and now we’re paying the price for those choices.

As many of you know, it took us three years to reopen because of major infrastructure projects, material delays, and more. We’ve faced skyrocketing utility bills, rising costs for goods and kitchen ingredients, and increases across nearly every expense we have.

Through all of this, we remain incredibly grateful — for our loyal locals, travelers, and vacationers who stop in, say hello, and keep us going. But we need help reaching more people.

We’ve got big, loud feather flags arriving this week to help catch eyes from Route 9. Later this season, we’ll launch dinners-to-go, and we’re even exploring delivery.

Very exciting new business in Keene! Our family loves Noodles 🥰

We’re so excited to bring real Asian street food to downtown Keene!

Buba Street Noodle & Bar may sound big, but we’re actually a small, family-led team born out of love for bold, soulful flavors and late-night noodle cravings.

This isn’t a franchise. It’s a passion project—Vietnamese roots, street food memories, and years behind the wok (okay, stock pot 😄) all rolled into one.

We’ve spent the past few years growing our small business and giving back in Manchester—whether it’s through community meals or just a warm bowl of pho for someone who needed it. Now we’re bringing that same energy and love to Keene.

We’re looking forward to being part of this amazing food community, and we welcome all the noodles coming to town—because at the end of the day, more good food is a win for everyone.

And no, we’re not a chain. Just one noodle-obsessed family trying to make our pho-mily proud.
