It’s hard to believe that nearly 7 years ago, I picked up my first bag of royal icing so I could learn how to decorate “fancy cookies” in time for Penelope’s second birthday…

And via happenstance, a creative and fun new skill ended up turning into “Little Penelope’s Cookie Boutique” just a few months later.

Happy 8th year to the kindest, sweetest, silliest, smartest, loudest, most intuitive, intelligent, stubborn, and uber talented little girl I know!

My Story

I have always loved a beautifully decorated sugar cookie - to admire and to eat. However, often times, once I would bite into the beauty that I was sure would taste delicious, I came up disappointed. Typically the experience was rock hard icing with no flavor and a dull dry cookie. Hence, I began making my own. I am excited in my venture to share my love of the perfect treat by baking and decorating sugar cookies that are super cute and even better tasting for others to enjoy as much as I do! The name of my business was inspired by my adorable, super-sweet little girl who LOVES everything about cookies even more than her momma.....and that’s A LOT!!
