Spending 72 hours in Edinburgh and St. Andrews was an absolute whirlwind of history, culture, and stunning scenery!

Join us as we explore the vibrant city of Edinburgh, walking the iconic Royal Mile, soaking in the atmosphere of Victoria Street, and standing in awe of the majestic Edinburgh Castle.

We delve into Scotland's rich heritage at the National Museum of Scotland and admire incredible art at the National Gallery. Of course, no trip to Edinburgh is complete without experiencing the cozy pubs and indulging in some delicious Scottish food!

Then, we hop on a scenic train to the charming coastal town of St. Andrews. Here, we explore the historic St. Andrews Castle, wander through the impressive ruins of St. Andrews Cathedral, and take in the breathtaking views from the beautiful beaches.

Join us as we take on a summer hike through the Indian Heaven Wilderness, starting at the historic Indian Racetrack and making our way up to the Red Mountain Lookout.
The trails were overgrown and the heat was on, but the challenge made the journey even more rewarding. Along the way, we kept our eyes open for bears and soaked in the wild beauty of this PNW gem.

At the top, we were rewarded with stunning views of 4 iconic Pacific Northwest volcanoes!! Hood, Adam's, Rainier & St Helen's!!—an unforgettable sight. Standing at the old Red Mountain Lookout, built back in 1910, gave us a step back in time and a whole new appreciation for the history of these lands.

If you love rugged trails, breathtaking mountain views, and a little bit of wilderness history, this hike is one to remember! 🌲⛰️

It's been a while since we did a Thumbnail Thursday, but since it's our 1st week of our video's going to Fridays, let's go!!

In this week's video, we are hiking (Yes, actually hiking 🫨) in the Indian Heaven Wilderness in Southwest Washington State.

We drive to the Falls Creek Horse Camp and head out on the Indian Racetrack Trail, then after a couple of miles and 700ft, we hang a left on the Red Mountain Lookout Trail. Another mile & 1,000ft later we reach.. You guessed it ~ Red Mountain Lookout. Where we have 360 views of favorite PNW volcanos ~ Hood ~ Rainier ~ Adam's ~ St Helen's 🫨

We chill at the Lookout for a while, soaking in the views and eating lunch, then head back to the Beast. Oh, then it's off to Backwoods Brewing in Carson for pizza & beers.

We’re back at our OG spot near Mt. St. Helens in the beautiful Gifford Pinchot National Forest, and this trip is full of cozy camping vibes and ASMR nature sounds. From the crackling fire to the sound of wind in the trees, this video is perfect if you love peaceful outdoor escapes.
