We had a special delivery!

We received our Kali King Rooftop Tent!!

So we took our Evo 2 off the Tacoma & put it back on the trailer, then put our new Kali King on the Tacoma.

Wheew!!

Ready to break it in next week PNW style!!

It is amazing and we have waited so long to finish our overlanding rigs. 🙌🤘🙌🤘 (Or are we done?🤣)

Thanks to Freespirit Recreation for the fast delivery!! (We bought it on Tuesday & it arrived Friday, oh & we got our $ back from ("that other out of business tent company"🙌)

We headed deep into the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, exploring miles of rugged forest roads and checking out tons of dispersed campsites near Mount Adams — but Mother Nature had other plans! 🌧️

What started as a fun day of exploring quickly turned into a race against the weather as a massive storm rolled in earlier than expected. We searched for the perfect campsite, enjoyed the epic forest scenery, and made the most of the day before calling it quits and heading out before the storm hit.

Even though we didn’t get to camp, it was still an awesome adventure — full of muddy roads, moody skies, and unreal PNW fall vibes. 🌲

Day 4 of 4 of our Central Oregon trip, we explored up towards the North Sister and ended up camping in a cinder cone with the most epic views of the mountains! Great food, beers, and tons of relax time. Perfect way to end our trip!

Day 3 of 4 we traveled some pretty gnarly rough roads to make it to our next campsite. We camped at the end of the furthest road near Castle Rocks above the Metolius River on the edge of the Warm Springs Reservation. Amazing sunset, dinner and epic views!

This trip takes us to the edge of the Yakima Indian Reservation, where we explore and camp in a landscape shaped by the past — once burned by wildfire, now beautifully reborn with new life. 🌲🔥

We set up camp with our rooftop tent on the Tacoma, surrounded by mountain views and wide-open wilderness. As the sun sets, the light fades across Mt. Adams, painting the sky in warm colors while we relax, crack open a few drinks, and cook up an amazing dinner before the cold night settles in.

When the temps drop, we huddle around our propane fire pit, stargazing under a crystal-clear sky until it’s time to crawl into the tent and warm up for the night. ✨❄️

Morning brings a golden sunrise, hot coffee, and a delicious camp breakfast before packing up and heading off toward our next adventure. 🚙☀️

If you love off-grid camping, mountain sunsets, and the peaceful side of the Pacific Northwest, this one’s for you.

Thumbnail Thursday: In this week's video we took our Tacoma deep into the backroads near the Yakima Indian Reservation, where wildfire scars meet fresh green growth in a landscape beautifully reborn.

With Mt. Adams towering in the distance, we set up camp and kicked back with some cold beers. For dinner we cooked up a proper backcountry feast as the sun dipped behind the horizon.

As the cold settled in, we huddled around the fire pit, listening to podcasts and soaking up the silence.

Waking up to an amazing sunrise, hot coffee and a yummy breakfast was the perfect sendoff.

Night 2 of 4 brought us to Green Ridge which sits above the Metolius River in Central Oregon.

We relaxed, ate an amazing homemade Spaghetti O's dinner and witnessed one of the most epic sunsets we have ever seen.

In the morning we made our Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich, packed up and then onto our next camp.

Such a great site, we will be back. ✌️

Day 1 of 4 of our Central Oregon camping road trip brought us to the edge of Lake Billy Chinook! We had an amazing night with an epic moon rise over the horizon and we got to test out our new diesel heater (which kept us so warm in 28 degree weather). We had an awesome breakfast, packed up and headed out for our next adventure!
