The “Queen”, the “OG”, “Meeks”, “my soul dog”, she is the dog with many names but she is absolutely the best girl and we love her. In her middle age, she has decided that she loves the couch with all the pillows! She started my journey as a breeder and what a wonderful journey it has been. She is not related to my current litter but she is doing a fabulous job being “grandma and teacher”…this darling litter of chocolate Goldendoodles are getting ready to go home in the next couple of weeks! Time flies when you’re having fun!

I know, I know, this is a page about wonderful dogs and precious puppies but here at “The Hive” we celebrate all creatures great and small! We got this funny girl named, Rose along with her two sisters Blanch and Dorothy, (Golden Girls) when they were 4 weeks old. They’re called Easter Eggers, think “Doodle” of chickens. Each has their own funny personality but Rose is hilarious with her desire to sit on my lap, shoulder, arm and then last night as they were going to roost, she decided that the top of my head was it! Silly chicken, she is so fun! We got chickens for several reasons, my sweet mom with Alzheimer’s is now living with us and has always wanted them and we know that many people are keeping chickens now so we wanted to expose the puppies to them at an early age for proper socializing. I love all of our creatures and I promise to post these beautiful chocolate beauty goldendoodles soon!

Happy Mother’s Day from Reese, Stephanie and Chris, we all hope you moms, moms to be and hopeful to be moms someday all had a beautiful day! Reese is relaxing in her new role as a mom of four, 2 boys and two girls. I’m a little wiped out but I promise to show off these beautiful pups this week!

I think we need to do some repeat litters…these two pups are so adorable!!! On the left is, “Lola” from Cali and Paddington and on the right is, “Inigo” from Reese and Archie! Lola is a multigenerational Goldendoodle and Inigo is an F1 Cavapoo. They are both just awesome pups with the best mom! We are so happy with both of these litters, they’re phenomenal dogs! A Blob on a big triangle! Yep, that’s what I see too but do you know what I know? Reese is pregnant with 4 precious puppies! Due May 6th. We are so excited for baby Reese and Yellowstone puppies. We’ve even got chickens now to socialize the puppies to chickens since so many families have chickens now. All the good things are happening here at “The Hive”…stay tuned for pupdates!
