Year after year we graduate out seniors that play vital roles on our cheer teams, but when you lose someone that has played a vital role on her teams for YEARS, it hurts that much more. Mercedees is the athlete you put in a stunt if it’s not working, she’ll make it work. Not only will she hold the entire stunt there while the group finds their grips, she will coach the teammates along the way. She is everyone biggest cheerleader, but also everyone’s go-to when they need a correction. She knows the sport like the back of her hand and she has been one of our most reliable athletes for so many years. She can keep a stunt up like nobody’s business, she continues to improve her tumbling practice after practice, and she is always looking for places she can get better at - even when she is already one of the best!
