I suspect the seed came from the woods. I packed some leaves out for my compost pile, and I threw some in that area.

I'm straining off herbal infusions today! Last year's forages & garden produced more than enough cooking and skincare ingredients, but we're dwindling down.
With any ingredient, quality matters...that starts with the environment it comes from.
How and where an animal or plant was grown or raised, and what it was fed...is super important to me. Food is medicine and I'm living proof ✨️
This is why I try to source, grow, and forage ingredients that align with my values. It's not always easy, it's more work, but it's worth it imo. I love creating clean, health conscious, products for ya'll. It heals me too.
When it comes to food & skincare, the source matters just as much as the ingredient.
