This week’s Shop Small Saturday Spotlight is shining on Shanda’s Sassy Classy Treats, serving up some seriously tasty treats right here in Kingman!
Shanda’s story began in 2021 after she moved to Arizona and lost her job as a restaurant baker during the pandemic. With years of professional baking experience behind her, she decided to take a chance on herself—and Shanda’s Sassy Classy Treats was born.
Today, you’ll find everything from her famous **no-bake cheesecake cups** to coffee cake, brownies, cake slices, specialty desserts, and seasonal creations. And because the menu changes regularly, there’s always something new to try!
Her philosophy is pretty simple:
✨ **“I don’t do fancy—I do tasty!”** ✨
For Shanda, flavor comes first. She puts creativity and care into every dessert, always experimenting with new flavors and combinations and making sure customers leave with something they genuinely enjoyed.
But behind every cheesecake cup and brownie is also the reality of running a small business—planning menus, shopping for ingredients, prepping, keeping up with regulations, creating content, serving customers, and everything in between.

Shanda says one of her favorite parts of owning a business in Kingman is the people. From familiar faces who have supported her from the beginning to new customers discovering her desserts for the first time, the support of the Kingman community has meant the world to her.
