THIS is what a commons of access looks like.... The ._trail box is the vessel.... we are overjoyed to visit it often and see unsolicited assortments of donated products for menstrual health... from period products to free classes offerings to knowledge sharing for menstruating humans...

The Moon Trail box is a distribution point for menstrual products and health information. The goal is to include anyone who needs products or wants to provide support for menstruation.

The box itself is called a "Light Pod" by Trust Up. Light Pods can help with resource collection and distribution for important causes. It features a smart light that glows to when it is empty or full.

The Light Seed (pictured) is a distribution point for resources.

It's a simple wooden box managed as a "commons"... it is way for collectively accessing abundance, stewarded by a local community. Those who stock it do so as a gift. And those in need, can take anonymously.

This first installation is for menstrual products and health information. Since installation, Light Seed 1 has helped many people access resources on the corner of Tilda's in Midtown Kingston. See the initiative at ._trail

If you have any any ideas for designs, uses, capabilities, feedback, feel free to let us know! This is being with the local Kingston community in response to a need around resource circulation. All are invited / included

The Moon Trail box is stocked! If you (or a friend) are in need of free Period products and menstruating-body health information, come check it out outside Tildas in midtown Kingston.

All are free to take (and contribute to this) distribution point for supplies and knoweldge.
