Celebrated the end of a great cookie season by attending the Great Cookie Tasting!

It’s becoming a tradition to close out the season with my co-leader and our troop cookie manager enjoying yummy Girl Scout Cookie and beer pairings while we help raise money for our Girl Scout council. We had so much fun!!

One of the best parts of being a Girl Scout volunteer is that I also have the opportunity to make new friends and spend time with them!!!

Also - Samoas were announced as the winner of the Great Cookie Competition this year! 💜 What’s your favorite Girl Scout Cookie??

Leah and I just got back from an amazing trip with our Girl Scout troop to Savannah.

We did a dolphin cruise, ghost tour, climbed the tallest lighthouse is Georgia, caught ghost shrimp and mantis shrimp on the beach, met The Dancing Umpires from the Savannah Bananas, had a wonderful tour & program at , ate lunch in Girl Scout/Telfair Square, shopped River Street, and had an amazing seafood dinner at The Crab Shack.

It was a jam-packed 4 days and I had such a blast spending time with these girls. They’re hilarious, capable, intelligent, spirited, compassionate, and sweet. They made all the planning more than worth it.

Now I just wait until they tell me where the next adventure is…

LATERGRAM

Last weekend, I drove up to Michigan to experience with my Mom and sisters.

My sister lives in Brighton where they transform their downtown into Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls.

It was so fun to see all the shops commit to the bit and transform their businesses to fit the theme.

The best part though was getting a chance to spend a beautiful fall day with my mom and sisters shopping, laughing, and catching up. Those opportunities are few and far between lately.

Are you a Gilmore Girls fan? Are you Team Jess, Dean, or Logan? (Did I get that right? I’ll admit I didn’t watch the show 🤪)

Was fortunate enough to be invited along with Brooke and friends to enjoy a couple days in Santa Rosa Beach, FL.

The weather could have been more cooperative but we both still had a blast. I was happy that she had a chance to get out of town and keep her mind off the surgery waiting for her when she got home.

I was so glad to get to know the other moms on the trip, too. We clicked right away and made sure we had our own fun while the girls had theirs!!

I’m ready for the next one!! 🏖️

This would never even occur to me!!

(In total disclosure, I was waiting in the parking lot during Brooke’s interview because she was 14 and obviously not driving yet.)

I am accustomed to getting resumes from former colleagues on behalf of their teens for summer internships but I had never experienced the phenomena of parents attending a job interview alongside their young adult.

Junior Prom in the books!

Don’t know how my baby girl grew into this beautiful young woman right before my eyes!

Looking forward to hearing more about her time at the dance but my hard-working girl was at work bright and early this morning.
