True Vine is the newest release from Called Collective, a stirring worship song rooted in John 15. Available now only as a live performance on YouTube (not yet on streaming platforms), the song was recorded at Garden Space PDX - a prayer room and urban abbey in Portland.

It carries a soulful gospel sound with simple instrumentation of acoustic guitar and piano. Two voices lead the song, blending in heartfelt harmony as they sing of dependence on Christ, the True Vine. The lyrics express the surrender of sheep guided by their shepherd, clay shaped by the potter, branches relying on the vine. It’s a moving reminder that apart from God, we can do nothing, yet in abiding with Him, we bear much fruit.
