No show today, sigh.

Personal health issues this week prevented me from adding more music into the blender for today.

Having to personally re-screen ALL of our local music submissions for profanity (since we are a legal FCC-licensed station and can't air words like sh** or f***) prevents me from even re-airing any and all past shows.

More updates this weekend, hopefully. Slowly getting close to a place where the blender auto-pilots for future shows!

Schedule change alert!

DJ Pan-Atomic is backing off from Local Music Blender due to life changes. [SEE HIS COMMENT BELOW FOR MORE.]

As of this weekend, the show will no longer air Saturdays 2-4 PM and Mondays 6-8 PM.

Instead, Local Music Blender will be our local music rotation and will begin airing Friday afternoons this week.

Still working out the details, hoping to be able to automatically announce the bands played during those rotation hours, but that remains to be seen. We will definitely include some occasional features with multiple tracks and more detailed info/backstory for bands. More about that Friday.

In addition, a few dozen local bands will have their tracks in our general rotation starting this week as well, and those will be changed out in part or in full on a monthly basis.

The good news is that ANYONE can become a DJ at Wozo and start doing your own show or take over doing a local music show using the 3000+ track submissions from the 250ish local bands and artists we have so far, plus all the new submissions that come in every week.

Nonetheless, we will continue to call out for and accept tracks from ANY local band or artist, ANY genre, ANY year, and those WILL be played on the radio, even if only during our local music rotation on Friday afternoons. So our mantra continues: You send it, we play it.

Hour two is Laith Keilany + William Wright, Jodie Manross, Jack Rentfro & the Apocalypso Quartet, a man called Esh, Quartjar, Jake Winstrom, Mal Nombre (doing a cover) and a live jam with Muddy Ruckus (from MA).
