As I was planning Thursday’s ride for Traveling Tall’s Run to the Hills 6, the manager at the Song & Hearth restaurant at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort asked for an approximate dinner count. Since Thursday has traditionally been a smaller ride day, with many riders arriving later in the weekend, I expected a modest turnout and made reservations accordingly.
What a wonderful surprise it was to see so many of you show up!
The ride was fantastic, the food was great, and the fellowship was even better. More than anything, it was a reminder of how special this community has become. Whether you traveled across town or across the country, thank you for taking the time to be part of the experience.
I’m especially grateful to the amazing staff at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort for accommodating our group and helping everything run smoothly. They did a fantastic job, and we truly appreciate their hospitality.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. Your support of the Traveling Tall community means more than you know. Seeing so many riders and friends together has me excited for what’s ahead. We’re already looking forward to Traveling Tall’s Run to the Hills 7, and who knows... we may need to start the fun a day earlier next year!
