Members of LCSO Honor Guard presented Sheriff Marceno a plaque in honor of the team receiving 1st Place at the 33rd Annual Honor Guard Drill Competition in Washington. We’re so proud of the outstanding work the team does to represent this agency!

Yesterday, we had the privilege of witnessing a group of dedicated students who invested countless hours in preparing, practicing, and honing their skills for a ceremony that honored individuals they had never met, who made the ultimate sacrifice during an event that occurred before their time. With dignity, reverence, and respect, they honored heroes, including local heroes and those who lost their lives in the line of duty. As we look to the future, we are reminded of these exceptional young individuals and are confident that the future is bright. We are pleased to introduce the Hendry County School District Public Service Academy (LaBelle Division) Honor Guard. Comprised of 22 members from 9th to 12th grade, our team is currently enrolled in Criminal Justice, Emergency Medical Response, or Fire Safety Classes. Yesterday, our newest members were recognized in front of their peers as they received the news of this notable achievement.
