Along with the Xiaomi 17T Pro is a new Xiaomi 17T that is co-eingineered with Leica Camera! It’s very similar to the 17T Pro but with a few changes to help it obtain a lower price point. It still has a great 5x Telephoto Leica camera, but the silicon Carbon battery goes down 500mAh go 6,500mAh, which is still huge, and has a 6.59” 120Hz display, with a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor. Charging is also slower at 67W. As a whole, it gets the main things right and is quite similar to the Pro, so if you don’t want to spend a little bit more, then the 17T is the way to go, but if you can, get the Pro for a few nice quality of life bumps!

Here we go! The new Xiaomi 17T Pro is here and it is now packed with tons of Leica Camera goodness. There’s a 5x Leica Telephoto camera on it that is amazing to use for portrait shots, street photography, concerts, and even architecture. It’s a ton of fun to shoot with. It has a massive 7,000mAh Silicon Carbon battery, that can easily get you through an entire day and more. Inside, you’ll find a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor powering everything. The 6.83” 144Hz Display has a ton of tech built in to make it easy on the eyes as well as accurate for all of those wonderful photos and videos you’ll be taking. It’s honestly pretty exciting to get photos this good on a T series Pro model!

Holy cow, Sennheiser is on a roll! These are the new Sennheiser Momentum 5 wireless Bluetooth headphones. First, yes, they can sound AMAZING! There’s a little bit of a bass boost to make them more consumer friendly, but pull it back a bit on the lowest slider, and bam, you have an amazing sound across the board. Perfect for the average listener and the audiophile. Along with that, the ANC and transparency mode is finally competitive with flagships. It’s no longer something to say “Sennheiser is good, but…” about. Yay! On top of that is a massive battery that is replaceable, a light design, a new smaller case, fantastic codecs for amazing, transparent sound, and more. After the Sennheiser HBD630, it’s refreshing and amazing to see Sennheiser knock it out of the park again as the only headphone brand that has a sound profile essentially what I want with only a few small, minor tweaks.

There are A LOT of gaming headphones out there. I admit, I haven’t checked out all of them, but I have checked out a lot over the years, and they often struggle with having good sound quality. They emphasize certain things that make them awful for anything else, like music. Over the past year, the best option I’ve found, for SOUND SPECIFICALLY, that is a wireless option comes from Fractal Design with their first foray into headphones with the Fractal Scape.

This headphones really impressed me. Not only does it sound good right from the start, but you have tons of control over the sound with a custom EQ that gives you a tremendous amount of control. You can even share the EQ easily. What’s also novel is that it’s all done over a web based app! No software to download.

So not only does the Fractal Scape continue Fractal’s history of beautiful, clean design, but it starts what I hope is a long history of fantastic sounding headphones that I hope they continue and refine in terms of the capabilities and features around that sound. Phenominal job for a first try!!!

What in the world did WhatsApp send me? It’s all locked up and smells gooooood? Ohhh, it’s about their new incognito mode when talking to Meta AI within WhatsApp. Neat!!!

I’m traveling a ton all over the world soon, and I’ll be using WhatsApp for a lot of it!

Now there are A LOT of options for wireless microphones out there, but I think Insta360 has some novel features and a lot of decisions that alleviate a lot of frustrating things about other options with the release of their new Insta360 Mic Pro. The first thing you notice is the e-ink screen on it. You’re no longer wearing an ad for the company that made your mic. You can put anything you want on it. Your logo. Your face. The color of your shirt. Whatever! It’s great! It also has multiple mic patterns, 32-Bit float (yay!), dual recording options so you can use the noise cancellation feature to feed to your camera and record a raw 32-bit clip locally to the mic pack itself. On top of that, most of the little things you need to keep track of can all fit inside the case. What a crazy concept!! What do you think about the Insta360 Mic Pro? Let me know in the comments.

We’re all guilty of it…you’re lying in bed, and instead of going to sleep we pull out our phone only to get blinded by how bright it is. 😅 You can’t make it dim enough, so now you’re all screwed up. Well, there is a neat feature on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra that allows you to make your display extra dim, so it’s not so bright in the dark, and even extra bright for when you’re outside. Can you believe it has been TEN YEARS since Sony Electronics launched their flagship 1000X Wireless Bluetooth headphones with their industry leading ANC? In celebration of the huge legacy and impact they’ve had on the industry, Sony has released the 1000X The ColleXion headphones. A celebration of ten years of this lineup. It has a more robust, premium, stylish design, with much of the same tech as the XM6, but with improved circuitry, drivers, and additional features. It’s very much the same Sony sound, ANC, and Transparency that so many people love, with a more high-end, beautiful look.

This is present on many Android phones like the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and can be helpful if you happen to be with someone that is running low on battery and completely forgot their charger. It can be helpful in a pinch, and its wireless power share. You can share a bit of your battery life with reverse wireless charging on your phone with their phone or device that charges wirelessly. It’s not the most efficient method of charging, but it’s nice to have just in case.
