The second I come home with a drizzle bar tops, they know exactly what’s coming. They’re patiently (or not so patiently 😅) waiting for the strawberry tops. Apparently, those little leftovers are a flock favorite!

Nothing goes to waste around here, and if you ask the girls, strawberry tops are the real treat anyway. ❤️🐓🍓

One thing off the list! 🙌🏻🌱The blackberries and raspberries are finally weeded and mulched, and while I was at it, I got some horseradish plants cleaned up too. ❤️

It’s amazing how satisfying it is to stand back and look at a project that’s been nagging at you for weeks and finally be able to cross it off the list. ✔️

Of course, the list never really gets shorter around here… because next up is the strawberry bed. 😩🍓. Pray for my back, my knees, and my patience. 😂🌾

🥓 Bacon confession time… 😂
Most days I rip open the package, throw the whole bacon brick in the pan like a feral raccoon, and spend the next 10 minutes separating pieces with a spatula while questioning my life choices. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Other days? I carefully lay every strip out, give it plenty of room, and cook it to crispy perfection.

So tell me… how do you cook your bacon?

🥓 Spread out and crispy?
🥓 Chewy?
🥓 Baked in the oven?
🥓 Air fryer?

Some evenings you sit on the patio, curled up in the new furniture, watching the sunset with Huck by your side. 🌅🐈❤️

No rushing to the next thing. Just the sound of the evening settling in, a warm breeze, and Huck keeping watch over the farm from his favorite spot.

It’s funny how the simplest moments end up being the best ones—a beautiful sunset, a quiet evening, and a good cat who insists on being part of it all. 🥰

It’s almost time… 🌱☀️These little guys are just waiting for their permanent home in the garden. Until then, they’re hanging out in the greenhouse, soaking up the sunshine and putting on some growth.

Every year I tell myself I’ll be patient, but once the seedlings start taking off, I’m ready to get them in the ground and watch the garden come to life. 🌿❤️

For now, the greenhouse is doing its job—keeping them warm, happy, and growing strong while I get the garden ready for another season.
The countdown to garden season is officially on! 🌱🌻🍅
