Reminiscent of the old homemade tin can mics made in the backwoods and the bayous, the 2.2 features a single piezo pickup wired to a small treble bleed circuit. The 2.2 also features a volume AND a tone control wired to a Switchcraft instrument jack for added versatility. The void behind the pickup is filled with foam to help quiet feedback and handling noise. The treble bleed circuit helps tame boomyness, and feedback, also making highs less shrill all while keeping that great lofi tone intact. The volume and tone controls let you hear the mic with a sweep much like a guitar, adding much more tonal options to your palette.
