Behind the scenes of Monday’s fantastic session 🎺
The room was filled with top tier talent to create a 19 piece ensemble - our largest to date! The sound was phenomenal and our team knocked it out of the park. Looking forward to the final product!

There’s something special about getting a room full of composers, musicians, and creatives together.

Last week’s Score & Mingle: A Composers Awards Season Mixer brought together incredible talent, meaningful conversations, and new connections from across the industry. As a proud co-sponsor, Louisiana Scoring was honored to help create a space where artists could celebrate great work, share ideas, and build relationships that may lead to future collaborations.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We’re grateful to be part of such a talented creative community.

Here are a few moments from the evening!

From the thunderous power of Japanese taiko to the intricate textures of Indonesian gamelan, African polyrhythms, and a wide range of Latin percussion traditions, Louisiana Scoring is built to capture the world's most dynamic percussion ensembles.

Our scoring stage is frequently compared to renowned facilities like Fox and Sony when recording large percussion groups, offering the space, acoustics, and instrument access needed to bring these performances to life.

Whether you're recording a film score, cultural ensemble, or percussion-driven project, Louisiana Scoring provides access to an extensive collection of world percussion instruments ready for your next session.

We’ve had an action-packed month, highlighted by an incredible shared session with Mike Ladoucer & Joe Shirley. Flying in all the way from London to attend his session, Mike generously shared his expertise with us through a full masterclass the day before and a hands-on learning experience throughout his recording time.

Joe Shirley was able to remotely tune into the session and provide real-time feedback which is an incredible opportunity we enjoy offering to our composers!

To top it all off, our team is growing! Please join us in giving a huge, warm welcome to our new Scoring Operations Coordinator, Katie Seidel. 🎉 Katie has already become such an asset to our team and we're so glad to have her on board!

We are so grateful for the growth and the amazing people we get to work with. Here's to another great month ahead!

Louisiana Scoring officially touched down at the Game Developers Conference (GDC). This marked a continued step in our expansion into the gaming world, and we were excited to host a boba pop-up in the heart of the action!

We didn’t just go to see the sights. We went to bridge the gap between world-class scoring and the next generation of gaming. We're deepening our presence in the industry as we continue to expand our work across cinematic soundtracks and immersive audio.

Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by the pop-up to unlock a new level in game production with us. 😎

Recording sessions require musicians with endurance, agility, presence, and discipline. Traits such as these are not confined to the scoring stage, but are often woven throughout the musician’s life, reinforcing their ability to be on point when the conductor’s baton summons the music.

Mollie Pate is one of those performers. As the principal hornist for Louisiana Scoring, Mollie’s precision and skill sets the standard for every note.
