Congressional Republicans are debating a second, smaller partisan bill to address affordability, likely using budget reconciliation.

President Trump said Republicans do not need another major package after the One Big Beautiful Bill Act passed earlier this year.

Sen. John Kennedy urged leaders to bring another reconciliation bill. Speaker Mike Johnson and Majority Leader

Steve Scalise said any follow up would be smaller and require consensus.

Newsom’s press shop mocked Elon Musk by saying his estranged transgender child “hates” him.

Musk fired back on X, rejecting the framing and blaming the “woke mind virus” for taking his child from him.

He also said he loves his son and hopes to reconcile one day.

Elon Musk and California Gov. Gavin Newsom clash on social media over transgender rights and Musk's estranged daughter in heated public exchange.

Minnesota is drowning in welfare fraud headlines, and now this.

A jury unanimously convicted Abdifatah Yusuf for stealing $7.2 million from Medicaid through a home health business.

Judge Sarah West overturned the verdict.

She said the case was too circumstantial under Minnesota’s unusually strict rule, and that it is still “reasonable” the fraud was done by Yusuf’s brother without Yusuf’s knowledge.

Federal prosecutors say the head of Black Lives Matter OKC turned a bail fund into an ATM.

A grand jury indicted Tashella Sheri Amore Dickerson on 25 counts, alleging she moved at least $3.15M in returned bail checks into her own accounts and spent it on Caribbean trips, shopping, food deliveries, a vehicle, and six properties.

Indiana’s GOP-led Senate voted 31–19 to reject a Trump-backed redistricting plan that could have wiped out two Democratic House seats and produced a 9–0 GOP delegation ahead of 2026.

Senate leader Rodric Bray voted no despite Trump’s public pressure and Truth Social posts.

Trump vowed to back a challenger.

VP JD Vance accused Bray of double-dealing.

Bray denied it.

Dec 11, 2025 — Bench Rulings, Border Warnings & a Seized Tanker.

On Capitol Hill, the NCTC director says 18,000 known/suspected terrorists reached the U.S. under Biden, fueling demands for transparency. Protesters disrupt Kristi Noem’s Homeland Security hearing with “Stop ICE raids” chants. A federal appeals court has allowed the Trump administration and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth to resume enforcing the 2025 policy that generally bars individuals with gender dysphoria from serving in the military while the case continues.

The 2–1 panel said the district court did not give enough deference to military leaders, who argued the policy advances combat readiness, unit cohesion, and cost control.

A dissenting judge questioned whether those justifications were adequately supported and raised concerns about the policy’s motives.

Jasmine Crockett just jumped into the Texas Senate race, announcing her campaign about 90 minutes before the filing deadline.
She had spent weeks teasing a run and quietly commissioning internal polls, and now says the numbers looked strongest for her candidacy.

Her launch is built almost entirely around Trump, with her kickoff video highlighting clips of him attacking her and a speech framing herself as the person who will “stand up” to him.

This is the same Jasmine Crockett who mocked Gov. Greg Abbott as “Governor Hot Wheels” and repeatedly compared Trump to Hi**er and a “wannabe Hi**er.”

She has built a national brand on viral clashes with Republicans in committee hearings and cable hits, not on serious statewide governing.

Chuck Schumer and the D.C elites are now betting that this progressive firebrand can flip a state that has not elected a Democrat to statewide office since 1994.
