There are very few celebrity feuds that genuinely affect me, but this one does... Yes It does deeply ✨👌
Perhaps many people don't know this about me, but I am a huge consumer of Nigerian music. I've followed the industry for years, and among the artists whose journey I watched with admiration from the very beginning are P-Square.
Their story was never just about music. It was about two brothers with an extraordinary gift who dared to dream. As someone from Plateau State, it filled me with pride knowing that a significant part of that journey was nurtured in Jos, a city that has produced some of Nigeria's finest musical talents. Every time P-Square conquered another stage, broke another record, or filled another stadium, it felt like another reminder that greatness can emerge from anywhere.
That is why this endless feud hurts more than most people may understand.
Over the years, I have listened to Paul. I have listened to Peter. I have watched interviews, read statements, and followed the latest exchanges with genuine sadness. Yesterday, Peter's emotional video was difficult to watch. Paul's reactions over time have been equally painful to witness. What should have remained a private family disagreement has gradually become a public chronicle of hurt, resentment, accusations, and broken trust.
I am not writing this to declare who is right or wrong because, like everyone else, I only know what has been brought into the public space. Every family has stories the public never gets to hear.
What I do know is that life has already been incredibly kind to these two Men. They are immensely talented, globally celebrated, financially successful, and have built a legacy that many musicians can only dream of. Yet, despite all those blessings, this lingering conflict has become a dark cloud hanging over a story that should have been remembered only for excellence.
It is heartbreaking that two brothers who once stood shoulder to shoulder, sang in one voice, danced in perfect sync, and inspired millions now seem unable to find a path back to each other.
This is bigger than music.
It is a reminder that success does not automatically heal family wounds. Fame cannot replace peace. Wealth cannot buy back trust once it has been lost. Sometimes, the deepest scars are inflicted not by strangers but by those we love the most.
I still hope that one day, not because fans deserve another P-Square album, but because they deserve peace as brothers, they will find a way to forgive each other. Reconciliation may not erase the past, but it could prevent this painful chapter from becoming the final definition of a remarkable story.
If they can't come back as P-Square, they can come back as FAMILY that supersede all, Continue with their individual lives, aswell focus on their craft as Mr P and RÛDE BOY Peter Psquare and Rudeboy, maybe Collab when needs be, share the outcome and walk away 🤷
Some victories are greater than sold-out concerts, awards, or chart-topping records.
Sometimes, the greatest victory is finding your way back home.
