It is with a heavy heart that we learned of the passing of Jake Sessions early Friday morning. Jake had been with WTRP since the early 80s and was host of the Up All Night show. Jake was also the driving force behind the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Jake had been in declining health in recent months. WTRP will not be the same. Nobody loved Lagrange more than Jake.

Although WTRP and WRLA switched to Classic Country a few years ago I still get requests for the Oldies that we carried for so many years. Well they are back, at least online. Still some work to do such as weekend shows and disc jockeys (make it sound like a radio station). Enjoy what we have which is lots of music. Thanks Walter Douglas General Manager WTRP and WRLA.
