Wow. We've officially reached a significant milestone: 50,000 followers! 🎉🎉🎉

When I first started WDW Connection, I never imagined we would build a community of over 50,000 incredible people like you. This milestone belongs to each of you. Every interaction with our posts has contributed to the growth of this platform, and I couldn’t be more grateful for your support.

What began as a hobby of sharing pictures of Walt Disney World from 2020 to 2022 has transformed into a platform for exploring Disney Parks history, showcasing early construction, and engaging in conversations with former Walt Disney Imagineers who helped create that beloved history we cherish today.

The hobby continues, and it is truly rewarding to see how our content reaches millions of people around the world.

So here’s to the next 50,000 followers on WDW Connection! While no one knows for sure what we’ll see or do, I do know it will be quite an adventure. An adventure that we’ll take and make together. See you in the future!

Check out this stunning aerial view of the Vacation Kingdom from July 9, 1970, where you can observe the unique landscape featuring a partially drained Bay Lake alongside a partially filled Seven Seas Lagoon. This perspective highlights several iconic landmarks set to become part of Walt Disney World in 1971.

In this area of Fantasyland, preparations are underway to create a lagoon that will serve as the foundation for the upcoming 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea attraction.

This immersive experience transported guests into the depths of the deep blue sea with Captain Nemo (not the clownfish). Also, you can see a Utilidors entrance in the lower right corner, providing essential backstage access for staff and maintenance operations.
