They are growin and groovin now for sure! 🥰 this is one of my FAVORITE ages to treat in therapy. They can finally play and participate, and even communicate, which opens up a whole new world!

Who is going to tell her the point of tummy time is to hold your OWN head up? 😆

I would put the pillow under her chest and armpits like you are supposed to and she would wiggle her arms down until the pillow was supporting her chin 😆🤦‍♀️ good reminder why you shouldn’t use pillows without supervision lol!

Some of these you might have started earlier, which is GREAT! But if you haven’t, definitely try to work some of these into your routine before the sixth month mark**

** With that being said, if your baby is not able to sit well while supported, don’t rush on the highchair one. Only do that one if your baby has good head & trunk control!

Have you heard of these red flags to watch out for? Most parents miss the nuance that these are also totally normal on occasion! Many kids do most, or all, of the above on and off throughout infancy and toddlerhood. It only becomes a red flag when it’s persistent and interferes with daily functioning 💛💛
