Disney hot take: Value Resorts get WAY too much hate ๐Ÿ˜‚

I swear people act like staying at Pop Century is the WORST. Listenโ€ฆ I love a deluxe resort but I will defend Pop Century ALL DAY.

Iโ€™ll gladly take:
๐Ÿšก Skyliner Transportation
๐Ÿ’ฆ Multiple Pools
โœจ Fun Disney theming my son LOVES
๐Ÿซง A clean room with everything we need
๐Ÿฅž A food court with plenty of options
๐Ÿ’ฐ and hundreds left in my vacation budget!

Because if my family is spending most of the day in the parks anyway, I donโ€™t always need a $700+ room to sleep and shower in.

Sometimes the smartest Disney splurge is knowing where NOT to splurge ๐Ÿ‘€

And honestly, every Disney trip has a different goal.
Sometimes weโ€™re doing a resort-heavy trip and I WANT that Deluxe experience. Other times, weโ€™re going hard in the parks and lโ€™d rather save that money for something else.

Thereโ€™s no one โ€œbestโ€ resort category. Itโ€™s about what makes sense for THIS trip.

If you know me, my absolute favorite food is Mexican. So naturally we need to talk about one of EPCOTโ€™s most atmospheric places to enjoy it.

Tucked inside the Mexico Pavilion, San Angel Inn Restaurante feels like youโ€™ve stepped into an evening in Mexico... even if itโ€™s the middle of a sunny Florida afternoon.

Between the perpetual nighttime setting, views of the pavilionโ€™s scenery, boats from Gran Fiesta Tour floating by and a menu of Mexican dishes and drinks, this is a restaurant Iโ€™d consider just as much for the experience and atmosphere as the meal itself.

But is it the right EPCOT dining choice for everyone? Not necessarily.
