I heard someone say: "If they never heard your side of the story, then the side they heard is how they already felt about you." That’s confirmation bias in its purest form. They didn't need the facts; they just needed a reason to justify their existing narrative. 🕊️✨
Honestly, realizing this is the ultimate freedom. We spend so much energy trying to hand people the truth, showing them our scars, and explaining our "why"—but if they’ve already decided you're the villain, they’ll just twist your truth to fit their script. 🎭🚫
Stop breaking your back to fix a perception you didn't break. If they wanted to understand you, they would have asked. Since they didn't, let them keep their version of you while you keep your peace. 🧘♂️💯
