Important info for Fort Ann residents. Today is the planned Water System Work, including a shutdown to relocate the water main line.

Planned Water Shutdown – Monday, July 6

The Village of Fort Ann would like to remind residents that a planned water shutdown is scheduled for Monday, July 6, to allow for necessary work on the village water system.

The water is expected to be shut off at approximately 9:00 AM. Please note that this time is an estimate and could vary slightly, so we encourage everyone to have water stored and be prepared before 9:00 AM.

Residents are encouraged to:

* Store enough water for drinking, cooking, and other household needs.
* Fill bathtubs or other clean containers if needed.
* Take care of dishes, laundry, or other water-related tasks before the shutdown.
* Make sure pets have fresh water available.
* Check in on neighbors who may need assistance.

The shutdown is anticipated to last approximately six hours.

Please take note that there will be a boil water advisory following the restoration of services.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will provide updates if there are any significant changes to the schedule.
