Another successful gig last night. Private party for the Jones family reunion, beautiful home with a great back deck and pool on a canal of Lake Orion. A number of boats pulled up in the canal to enjoy the show a blast was had by all. 2 firsts, the first gig with our new lead guitarist Todd Jonckheere, excellent addition to the group, really brought some hot leads. So we now have 2 phenomenal guitarists. The second first was my wife Karen running sound, a first for her also, she did an amazing job, she has a tremendous ear for a proper mix. Great job Honey? So proud of you.
I am working on the videos and will post them as soon as I can.
There is a rumor that Sweet Distraction will be playing a daye at Waterside Social on Lake Orion's main bay in August, will post information as soon as a date is set.

Hey to the Sweet Distraction followers and fan base. Our June vacations have come to a close and we are getting back into the groove. After the show at The 411 Pub we decided to do an upgrade. We have replaced our rhythm guitarist with a new Lead Guitarist, Todd Jonckheere, this cat is phenomenal. So now we have two hot guitarists in Fritz and Todd. We have also upgraded some music, adding some crowd favorites.
We open our late Summer/Fall season this Friday, a private lake front party in Lake Orion. We are working on a gig at the Waterside Social in Lake Orion in late August to early September and then we get serious.
Thursday October 1st we play The Hamlin Pub on Sashabaw Road in Clarkston, come out for 2 for 1 Pizza and some hot Rock N Roll.
Friday October 9th we play the Boat Bar in Ortinville on M15 and then back to our home club The 411 Pub in Goodrich on Hegel.

Hey friends and fans, just a quick update. We are on a bit of a hiatus for the month of June, family vacations and stuff. July we have some private parties to play, August we will be back in the groove. Stay tuned for the fall and winter line up.
