On behalf of myself RMG MUSIC GROUP - Bonanza Entertainment and everyone at the label we would like to send our sincere condolences out to the friends and family of Tanner Ellis aka "Meraki" Musicwith Meraki who passed away tonight at 7:01 Eastern Standard Time. RMG Music group recording "Meraki" and another recording artist/passenger were in a tragic car accident last night. For privacy reasons we can not share the other passengers name but we are told they are in stable condition.

Meraki was in the middle of recording his first single with me but we didn't have the chance to finish. There's a reason they say to appreciate each day, each moment and live life to the fullest. You never know what may happen. I'm a true believer in everything happens for a good reason and even through death there is a message, a lesson, a blessing to receive. I know that for myself I am blessed to have met and even for the short amount of time to have worked with Meraki not only on his music but collaborated on another artists project. I have some responsibility to take what we started and bring that to life to honor his talent, his fellow artists, friends, family, fiance their baby that's on the way that he leaves behind.

I also want to ask all of you for your, love, prayers and support for his fiance Jasmine Millner and their baby on the way. Jasmine aka JAZ who was also working in the studio with us had recorded several duets with him. Sing In Heaven 🙏🙏🙏

I am happy to say that for the first time I had a song submitted for a Grammy consideration: "Rapture" - Kendra Erika written by Ronnie Chico Di Cicco & Kendra Erika, Produced by Ronnie Chico DiCicco for RMG MUSIC GROUP /Oyster Shell/Symphonic.

More importantly congrats to my friends Lorne Shields and all the other indie artists who had their music submitted for consideration...it's far from crossing the finish line BUT to have a shot at the conversation is the first step. 🙏🙏🙏
