At the end of 2024,and the beginning 2025 I purged a large portion of my games. Some played, some never played. The hobby had become more about accumulation and less about playing. One day while trying to choose a game to play I had so much anxiety over my 35+ unplayed games, several delayed Kickstarters, players moving away, kids growing up and moving on. I had to make a change. I canceled Kickstarters, sold or gave away games that I couldn't reasonably get to over the next year. Dropping about 150 games. A lot has happened This year so gaming has slowed a bit. I still have a shelf of shame though it's smaller about 10 games. My acquired games were limited to thrift store finds with a rule we had to play it that day. I do find myself lamenting 1 or 2 games I let go. I also have some I regret keeping. Is there a game you regretted letting go? 🤔🎮👀

What are you playing tonight, and what will you be singing during New Year's Eve karaoke? I will play the tunes of Beat Saber, attempt to terraform Mars, and dance a jig on the Spacebase as I recall all the great people I have gamed with over the years.
