Stone Studio is located in the foothills of the Berkshires in Lakeville, Connecticut. At just a 2-hour getaway from New York City, the studio offers a relaxed and focused creative environment. The studio is housed inside an old converted carriage house where the natural acoustics are open and balanced. Inside the studio is a full kitchen, full bathroom, big screen projector, and the comforts and amenities of home. Our neighbors next door is a Yoga studio that many of our clients enjoy taking part in during their stay. Outside the studio, the Berkshires offers some of the best lake activities, white water rafting, hiking, skiing, farmer's markets, and restaurants.
Mission: The studio is operated by Graham Stone and Ariel Loh. Together, we strive to make Stone Studio a musician's getaway and creative retreat.
The space is designed as an open-layout studio - we believe the creative process is fluid and should not be separated by a control room window. Sounds can inspire songs and songs can inspire sounds and we want to help nurture that ideology in your music. We have painstakingly collected and paired vintage instruments, recording equipment, and other sound toys that we find inspiring to compliment the space. We hope to share the space we with you and your music.
