Deer season is coming fast!

The cool thing about video mode on your trail cameras is getting to see how they interact with eachother. Even from seeing how they approach the scrape!

The biggest buck is in the back where he can observe what all the other buck are doing & most likely he’s still able to check that scrape/trail

Started scouting a new public piece & didn’t know what was in the area!

Multiple bucks that I would harvest are in this area, I found their bedding, trails and now I just need to confirm their food source…I’m thinking it’s the white oak flat BUT I need to verify that the trees are producing!

On this episode, Michael Birky, founder of Knowhere Outdoors, explains how the IronBuck went from a year of obsessive prototyping to a metal deer call that sounds like a real buck, holds up to brutal use, and is designed to become a true heirloom in your pack.

Michael walks through the engineering behind the IronBuck, including why the body matters, how the long threads are built for future accessories, and why the call’s reed and soundboard design were tested over and over until the tone finally felt right.

If you’ve ever been frustrated by cheap gear breaking at the worst possible moment, this episode will hit home.

Most hunters think camo is about the pattern. It’s actually about how that pattern interacts with the woods.

S-18 was designed with that in mind!

Code of Silence analyzed trees and designed the pattern around the average branch size and density at 17.8 feet.

That’s roughly the height they identified as a typical treestand position.

In other words:
The pattern is built to break up the human outline against the branch canopy—not just put leaves on a shirt.

S-18 was designed around 3 things:

1. NATURAL SHAPES
Patterns based on shapes found throughout whitetail woods.

2. NATURAL COLORS
Tones based on targeted vegetation.

3. NATURAL LIGHT ABSORPTION
Neutral-LR technology is designed to reduce unnatural reflection and make the fabric interact with light more like natural surroundings.

Because when a buck is inside 20 yards, you don’t need your camo to look cool.

You need it to help you disappear into the background long enough to make the shot.

That’s the idea behind S-18.
