Since its release, "If I Die Young" has sold over 2 million copies, the eleventh country song to do so, and only the fourth time that a band reached this plateau, following Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band and Rascal Flatts.

will give fans an intimate look into his life with the upcoming release of his memoir, "KILLIN’ TIME: My Life and Music", arriving May 19, 2026.Named after his hit song and 1989 debut album, the book finds the ’90s country icon reflecting on his journey as a singer, songwriter, husband to Lisa Hartman Black, and father to Lily Pearl Black.

Starting with his Texas upbringing—marked by “near-death” experiences as a child—it follows him through his rise in music, including dropping out of high school to pursue his dream and eventually becoming a country hitmaker. The memoir also features a 16-page color photo insert, offering fans a visual glimpse into his life and career.

The book is set to hit shelves May 19, 2026.

Dec. 12, 1998 - was at #1 on the Country Singles chart with "Let Me Let Go". It was the third single from her album "Faith", and the 5th #1 Country song of her career.

The full lineup for Nashville’s New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash TV special has been announced, and there are some huge country artists slated to perform.

Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson and Bailey Zimmerman will headline the festivities, and the five-hour TV special will feature performances by Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Rascal Flatts, Riley Green, Marcus King, Megan Moroney, Zach Top, Keith Urban, Gretchen Wilson, Stephen Wilson Jr., and Dwight Yoakam from venues and clubs across Nashville.

The show will air live on Wednesday, December 31st at 8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT and 10:30 PM-1:30 AM, ET/PT on the CBS Television Network, and it will also stream on Paramount+.
