For a while now, I've been working with an old band of mine (Slaves for Scores) to re-record one of our old fan favorites, that up until now, only existed as a crudely recorded demo...we wanted to give it the proper studio treatment it deserved and it's finally ready to share.

So, this song has been sitting on the shelf for quite some time. It was originally slated to release shortly after the news of Taylor's passing in 2022 as a tribute, but we ran into a snag finding the right singer and its been sitting ever since.

Since I'm down for surgery and can't play, I decided to take a crack at the vocals myself and I think the end result turned out pretty damn good. I'm happy to finally get it released

This one has been a long time coming and it was definitely worth the wait!!! Today we finally release a song from one of my favorite bands of all time…SEVENDUST! Waffle is one of my favorite tunes, taking it all the way back to the late 1999 album "Home".

I started pre-production on this song back in May of 2021 and while progress was certainly slow, waiting to get the right people involved was well worth it. Starting with the drums, Trey channeled his inner Morgan Rose and absolutely fu***ng smashed it!!! Cody held down that "Boss" bottom end on the bass while Justin provided those tasty synths that just bring the track together. Myself and Anthony took on Clint and John's dichotomic guitar tracks...from the melodic cleans of the verses to the nasty, heavy-ass groove of the chorus. This song wasn't gonna happen, though, without the right person on the mic and luckily, my man Rb was up to the challenge of bringing those soulful LJ vocals.

This song has definitely been a long journey, but I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Many thanks to all the guys involved...I was honored to share this performance with you.

While waiting for some other songs to come together, I was inspired do do another solo acoustic joint...been on an 80s kick lately thanks to some friends and I absolutely love this acoustic version of Take on Me by A-ha...the original was your typical pop song, but this stripped down acoustic version transforms into something altogether different.
