After multiple attempts, a few tongue-twisters, some confused looks, and plenty of laughter, we finally got through it. Let’s just say Dr. Monica Allen wasn’t the only one struggling… our own Ken Barnes was fighting for his life too! 😂

🏀🔥 THE WASHINGTON LEGACY 🔥🏀

Some families have history.

Some families have tradition.

The Washington family has a basketball legacy.

From their father, Stan Washington, who wore the Green and White at Michigan State in the 1970s, to three talented sons who made their own mark on the game, the Washington name has been synonymous with basketball excellence in Lansing for decades.

On the right is Kareem Washington, a high school phenom and Division I basketball player whose talent was recognized long before social media and highlight reels.

In the middle is Saddi Washington, a standout player in his own right who has gone on to build an impressive coaching career and currently serves as an Assistant Basketball Coach at Michigan State University.

On the left is the youngest brother, Famoun Washington, who continued the family’s proud basketball tradition.

Together, they represent more than wins and statistics. They represent family, hard work, mentorship, and a legacy that continues to inspire young athletes throughout Lansing and beyond.

The Washington brothers aren’t just part of Lansing basketball history…

They helped write it.

🎙️ Alright now… it’s officially time for them to stop eating all the donuts and go get a job at Quality Dairy! 😅🍩🙌🏽

Lansing legends know QD wasn’t just a store, it was part of the culture. Late-night runs, ice cream stops, donuts before school, and seeing half the city inside at once 😂
