🚨Uvalde Constable Confirms Long-Term Closure of Old Eagle Pass Road After Bridge Collapse

A section of FM 481, also known as Old Eagle Pass Road, will remain closed for the foreseeable future after catastrophic flooding caused the bridge to collapse, according to Uvalde County Constable Emmanuel Zamora.

Motorists are being directed to use Highway 83 to Highway 57 as the alternate route while the damaged bridge remains closed.

Officials encourage travelers to check current road conditions before heading out, as flood-related closures continue to impact parts of South Texas.

Laredo, TX - Local News personality La Gordi Loca announced she has damning evidence contradicting the Laredo Police Department’s official narrative regarding a recent officer-involved shooting. She revealed in a recent late-night livestream that she will meet with Chief of Police Miguel “Mike” Rodriguez at 8AM.

The incident in question occurred Friday, August 15 at approximately 3:30AM, when a 29-year-old man was allegedly sh0t by a rookie officer after approaching officers with a knife at the intersection of Olive and Valencia. LPD reported the suspect had earlier attacked a person with a bottle and attempted to enter a vehicle.
