Tonight, my heart is overflowing with gratitude.
I was invited to serve and sell my fresh-squeezed lemonades at our church’s Worship Night, and while I was excited for the opportunity, I had no idea what God had prepared for me.
The truth is that the last several weeks have been difficult. There have been moments when I felt tired, discouraged, and weighed down by circumstances. There have been days when the enemy tried to fill my mind with doubt, fear, and questions about my future, my purpose, and the promises God has spoken over my life.
But tonight, in the middle of worship, God met me exactly where I was.
As I lifted my hands and surrendered to Jesus Christ, I felt the presence of God fill me once again. I felt His peace, His love, and the power of the Holy Spirit reminding me of who He is and whose I am.
God reminded me that I still have purpose.
He reminded me that the prophecies and promises He has spoken over my life and over my daughters are still alive. They have not expired. They have not been forgotten. They have not been canceled because of hardship, loss, delays, or difficult seasons.
God is not like man, that He should lie.
What He speaks, He fulfills.
What He promises, He brings to pass.
Tonight, He reminded me not to allow the enemy to deceive me into believing otherwise. He reminded me that He is still writing my story, still opening doors, still making a way, and still working behind the scenes even when I cannot see it.
As I stood there worshiping, I reflected on His goodness throughout my life.
I thought about how He has been my Father when I needed guidance, my Protector when I felt vulnerable, and my Provider when I didn’t know how things would work out. Time and time again, He has carried me through seasons that I never thought I would survive. He has remained faithful even when I struggled. He has remained constant even when everything around me seemed uncertain.
I also found myself thanking God for my husband. Although his mission here on earth has been completed, I will forever be grateful for the gift he was to me and my daughters. He loved us well. He cared for us, protected us, and showed us the kind of love that reflected God’s goodness. The memories and legacy he left behind continue to bless our lives, and I thank God for every moment we were given with him.
Tonight, God reminded me that He is still taking care of us.
Not only did He fill me spiritually, but He also provided through my lemonade business. I was blessed with a wonderful turnout, and as I looked around, I realized once again that God sees every step of obedience, every sacrifice, every prayer, and every effort made in faith.
What many people may not realize is that this business has always been about more than lemonade.
From the beginning, I have believed that God gave me this business for a purpose. Yes, I love serving fresh lemonade. Yes, I love seeing people enjoy what I create. But beyond that, I believe God has called me to serve people through love, kindness, encouragement, and hospitality.
This business is part of my testimony.
It is part of my purpose.
It is part of the calling God has placed on my life.
Every event, every customer, every conversation is an opportunity to be a light, to show kindness, to encourage someone, and to reflect the love of Christ in whatever way I can. To give testimony!
And perhaps one of the greatest things God reminded me of tonight is this:
As long as my eyes remain fixed on Him, I do not have to fear the future.
I do not have to have every answer.
I do not have to understand every delay.
I do not have to know exactly how every promise will come to pass.
My responsibility is simply to seek Him, trust Him, obey Him, and follow where He leads.
Because if what I am doing is part of His will, no obstacle, no delay, no opposition, and no attack from the enemy can stop what God has ordained. He will continue to make a way where there seems to be no way. He will continue to open doors that no man can shut and close doors that were never meant for me.
Tonight, God reminded me that I do not have to strive or force things to happen. I simply need to remain faithful, keep my eyes on Jesus, and continue walking in obedience.
If He has called me to it, He will equip me for it.
If He has promised it, He will fulfill it.
If He has opened the door, He will provide what is needed to walk through it.
And if He is leading the way, then I can move forward with confidence, knowing that every step is covered by His grace, His provision, and His perfect timing.
Tonight was more than a successful event.
It was more than selling lemonade.
It was a divine reminder.
A reminder that I am His.
A reminder that He has not forgotten me.
A reminder that His promises still stand.
A reminder that my daughters and I are in His hands.
A reminder that my purpose is still alive.
And a reminder that the same God who has carried me this far will continue to sustain, guide, protect, and provide for us all the days of our lives.
Thank You, Lord, for Your presence.
Thank You for Your provision.
Thank You for Your faithfulness.
Thank You for Your promises.
Thank You for reminding me tonight that You are still God, still good, still working, and still worthy of all praise.
