We did it! Went to Open in Arizona this weekend and won the Best Overall award (tournament placing + hobby score) I’m super grateful for everyone having encouraged me to finally start gunning for the hobby track at events.

Great event that I’d highly suggest checking out next year! Big thanks to the organizer Matt Baugh and his entire team for all their hard work that goes into putting together a 120+ person event!

Fun weekend with the crew for our very first 10th edition RTT! Sadly got paired into Josh round 1 to knock is TSons out and then round 3 vs Director Lio (who wasn’t a fan of Eldar mortal wound output as depicted by the last picture 🤣) which dropped him down to 4th place overall. It never feels good going up against the homies at an event but such is the RNG life! Lio’s Deathwatch list is definitely scary so it’s no surprise he ended up going 2-1 just like Josh’s terrifying thousand sons did.

Big thanks to for hosting community RTT’s and also to our very own Dietzy for TO’ing and handling the unfamiliar 10th Ed questions like a boss!

Takeaways: Eldar are still very much THE boogie man considering I went into this with only 2 practice games of 10th under my belt yet pulled out an event win… wtf?!

What a wonderful way to break the hobby silence by competing at Frontline Gaming@ Bay Area Open!

Good laughs, dice, drinks, and food.. what more could one ask for?!

Ended up finished in 24th out of 152 lovely players with my Ynnari but day 2’s fatigue got to me being so out of practice. Something I’ll be working on personally in the upcoming 10th edition but most importantly, had 6 fantastic games with 6 wholesome opponents.

This trip was also the first time competing alongside the mighty Team Zero Comp of which I was humbly invited to earlier this year after LVO. Great group of dudes with the talent to inspire 🙏🏼

Great meeting everyone who attended BAO this weekend. Love this community and can’t wait to get on 10th edition channel content ❤️

What a wild 16 person RTT at yesterday!

(TLDR: The last pic sums it all up 😅)

I had 3 extremely long and tough games vs Custodes, Orks, and Custodes again vs my fragile Ynnari. I can’t say I’ve been so exhausted after an RTT and yet I keep choosing to compete with Ynnari LOL. To my credit, I’ve managed a 12-1 record since after LVO but man do I wish I was running a smoother play army sometimes! I’m definitely ready to change it up for 10th edition.
