"Hello! My name is Gianna and I am a senior from Green Valley High School in Henderson, Nevada. I’m extremely grateful to be accepting this scholarship from the Sigma Alpha Iota Las Vegas fraternity. I am a trumpet player planning to attend the University of North Texas as a jazz studies major in the fall, and I’m really excited to see what the future holds for me! Congratulations to Elizabeth Alsenz, our 2025-6 Sigma Alpha Iota Las Vegas Alumnae Chapter Scholarship recipient! 🌹

Elizabeth Alsenz is currently a senior at Las Vegas Academy of the Arts studying flute under Julie Ivy. Elizabeth is the principal flute in the top Band, Orchestra, and Jazz Band at her school. She also plays in small chamber ensembles. From 2021-202, Elizabeth has been selected for the CCSD Honor Band and NMEA All State ensembles. Elizabeth also attended Interlochen Arts Camp during the summers of 2023 and 2024. She has now committed to The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Flute Performance for the class of 2029.
